2015 Shea Vineyard Pinot Noir
A classic Shea, brimming with dark fruit intensity and structure. More open aromatically and on the palate then the 2014 was at this point in its evolution, the wines have been open and enjoyable but have the stuffing to age a solid 10-15 years if cellared properly. If you are a fan of past renditions of this wine 2015 will be right up your alley.
Deep, translucent red. Smoke- and spice-accented red and dark berry scents are complemented by subtle mocha, floral and licorice notes. Supple and lively on the palate, offering alluringly sweet raspberry and cherry liqueur flavors that are underscored by building mineral and floral suggestions. Shows very strong persistence on the penetrating, floral-driven finish, which is supported by smooth, well-knit tannins.
